Hello, I’m Kasia 👋

I’m UX/UI Designer based in Warsaw. I have a year of experience in this position in the start-up environment. During my work, I take full responsibility for the decisions made and work in the UX team (2 people), which is part of the IT department. I fully execute all projects, including meeting with stakeholders and implementation with developers. I often work with members of other departments such as marketing and sales. My daily tasks include the development of UX/UI projects in all phases: research, competition analysis, User Research, User Flows, User Journey Maps, low fidelity and high fidelity mockups. In addition, as a first UX team member in company, I’m also working on a Design system, which is needed for consistency between all projects.

I’ve just graduated from university where I studied Computer science with specialization in Internet technologies. During my studies, I learned to know some programming languages, especially those related to the development of web applications. These are mainly HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and React. My engineering thesis consisted of a web application which was designed on the basis of UX and UI Design and then implemented in MEAN stack technology. I graduated being awarded diploma with distinction.

My strengths are my creativity, bringing ideas to the table, putting myself in the user’s shoes and solving issues that at first seem impossible. During designing interfaces, I also try to think directly about the implementation phase of the product – my skills acquired during my studies allow me to slip into the role of programmers, so I don’t have any problems communicating with developers. I combine my technical and artistic skills at work as a UX/UI Designer – it is also my passion, I want to create useful and user-friendly websites and applications.
